for 1854, with 4in. octagonal barrel signed in two lines (faint), bead fore-sight, plain cylinder with traces of roll engraved scene, open iron frame (some faded colour), silver-plated grip-straps and trigger-guard bow, smooth walnut one-piece grips and hinged under-barrel rammer, blued parts mostly cleaned of finish, wedge and some screws replaced
